I declare my name will be presented at County Convention 49 in Warsaw on Tuesday May 26 1898 as a candidate for renowination for Representative subject to the decision of that body. I pledge my best services to my constituents and my wholehearted endeavors for their good.

Samians has a good horse to trade. E Brumbaugh and son Nathan are building a dwelling house at Vawter Park for a summer residence. J W Rothenberger and Miss Myrtle Bushong were guests of D Rothenberger Sunday Charley Koher is playing with the North Webster ball team this season. A few people attended the ball game at North Webster Saturday Cromwell was defeated 14 to 19.

Mr Asbury Cook visited Monday afternoon to campaign for the county assessor race. Born and raised in Harrison township Kosciusko County he served in the Union Army and has prior experience as township assessor. He asks constituents to consider his claims and endorse him at the convention for excellent future service.
