A Swarthmore resident for 28 years she helped in church and community work as a charter member of Swarthmore Presbyterian and leader in the King's Daughters Ladies Aid and other groups. Funeral services are Friday December 7 at 10 30 a m at her home with interment in Phoenixville Pa.

Union Thanksgiving Services at Swarthmore Meeting House
The annual service shared by Presbyterians Methodists and friends was held at Swarthmore Friends Meeting House at 11 A M on November 29. President Joseph Swain opened the meeting reading the Thanksgiving Proclamation and praised President Wilson while noting Swarthmore contributions to the Y M C A fund. Reverend George A Marr recalled early Union Services and Swarthmore’s new practice. Dr Swain praised the community effort to raise the Y M C A fund and national cooperation with the President. Dr Magill and Mr Jackson urged the Union Service begun here years ago despite initial misgivings. The event marked a new spiritual chapter in Swarthmore with broad unity and no dissent.

Hall Snyder Nuptials Quietly Celebrated at Cambridge Home
On Sunday December second at six thirty in the evening Miss Gladys C Hall married Mr Charles Arthur Snyder at the home of Mr and Mrs Paul Freedley.
