Concert for Club Debt by Mrs Taber Ashton and Miss Howell

Mrs George Taber Ashton pianists with Mrs Nina Prettyman Howell violinist present at a Thursday evening concert on April 15 at 8 15. Swarthmore High Defeats Episcopal 9 to 3 in Standout Win

Swarthmore High School opened with a fast start and led Episcopal 4-3 at seven innings before adding three runs in the seventh to seal a 9-3 victory. The Garnets remain undefeated in football basketball and baseball this year. A big Saturday match at 3:00 p.m. features Swarthmore against St Joseph's Prep on the high school grounds.

Easter Services at Central Police Station in Philadelphia

Easter services at the Central Velice Station City Hall Philadelphia attracted a large Swarthmore contingent and many Philadelphia visitors. Dr S P Ross presided over a musical program featuring contralto soloist Mrs Gerhart soprano soloist Mrs Mabel Elm Effing and the Junior Chorus of the Woman's Club. The audience joined in several hymns under the direction of Mr Symmington.

Two Swarthmore Couples Wed in Presbyterian Ceremony

On Tuesday evening two young people Miss Dorothy Grannan daughter of Mr Grannan of Dartmouth Avenue and Mr John Leander Paterson son of Mr A P Paterson of Swarthmore were united in marriage at Swarthmore Presbyterian Church.
