Frank Farrugia became captain with Affleck and Walters as officers. Next Sunday the club departs at 9 a.m. for Guilford to watch Castlemaine club scramble. Bernie Walters named whip. club fees are overdue and payable to the Secretary or Treasurer.

Last week the Maidstone Tennis Club held the opening rounds of this year's ladies and doubles championships. Kleeberger Captures Senior Road Championship in Narrow Finish
L Kleeberger rode a brilliant race to win the 58 mile senior road championship at Albion. With 35 miles left he and Shepherd remained ahead of the field before Shepherd punctured, leaving Kleeberger to finish easily. Junior champion was J Fox who beat G Ted and T Harper in the 20 mile event.
