Police recover goods after burglars smashed shop windows in Sunshine about 4 am. Stores Wexsis Cross, Seymour and Jackson jewels and fruiterers were hit. two men seen near the Sunshine Theatres led to investigation and loot recovered. Three suspects detained for questioning.
At Sunshi Town on Saturday a rates recovery sale offered 110 blocks near stone and Hampstead Road with frontages from 26 to 100 feet and depths up to 121 feet. 80 lots brought 912 pounds 18 shillings 6 pence, three withdrawn, 27 unsold but may sell privately.
