Kindergarten Children Help UNAC Appeal

Young pupils in Braybrook gathered pennies for the UN Children’s Appeal. Their effort raised £1 839 0s to aid a starving child in Europe, named Topsy, with funds counted by Shire President Dr. T. R. Barclay and Mrs Barclay.

Immunisation Campaign Planned for Braybrook Children

The Sunshine Old Boys Association gathered for its fourth annual meeting on Friday October 1. Tom Hyde was elected unanimously as president succeeding ill health retiree Norman Carland. Sunshine Presbyterian Church Hosts Lorna Brown Victor Robert Wedding

Lorna Hazel Brown and Victor Robert joyfully wed at Sunshine Presbyterian Church with family members in attendance. The bride wore white embossed marquisette over taffeta with a long train and orange blossom coronet. Bridesmaids wore apricot marquisette and blue accents. best man and groomsmen supported the ceremony. Breakfast followed in the Presbyterian Hall.

Sunshine bride ties the knot in Footscray RSL reception

Avis Merne Butler daughter of Mr and Mrs Butler of Dunmurry Park Sydenham wed Frederick Arthur Johnson youngest son of Mrs Johnson Ringwood on October 2 at Sydenham Presbyterian Church. The bride wore a white lace gown with veil and bouquet of white roses and hyacinths. Bridesmaids Lois and Jane Butler wore blue velvet and halos. Best man was BE Johnson groomsman KH Ryan.
