The Sunshine Methodist Church Choir led a Sunday evening choral service singing anthems. The consecration hymn Open the gates of the Temple was arranged by Louis Lavator. Kennedy Russell sang Poor Man's Garden with Miss Barker as soloist. Pastor B R Tot of Victoria Street Footscray will preach. A recent Spring Fair raised 2631 pounds for the Sunday School Building Fund, boosting committee morale ahead of the November 16 Sunday School Concert at the Shire Hall to further swell funds.

Opening of turf wicket at Sunshine Cricket Club

Re valuation of Shire to be investigated
The Legislative Committee added a plan for a complete re valuation of Mraybrook Shire properties. A special sub committee including Drs Barclay Drayton Lynch and Dobson will report on means to carry out the re valuation. Under the Local Government Act a shire must re value every six years, but Bray brook has not done so since 1938 99 due to the war.
