Albion School Concert Delights Large Sunshine Town Audience

The Albion school concert at Sunshine Town Hall drew wide praise as the district’s best children’s program. Organizers led by Mrs Ern Mounsey and headmaster J K Cunningham, with teachers Miss White, Miss Dodd, and Miss Smiths, staged a full evening of choruses, solos, dances, and tableaux. The Mothers’ Club funded costumes and makeup, while Mr Neyland and Mr W Thomas assisted. About £20 is expected to be raised for scholarships, Christmas treats, and prizes. The program ran from opening remarks to 11 pm with no encores after a run of varied items including "Briar Rose" and "Tin Gee Gee."
