Braybrook Council Tackles Street Name Duplication
At the Braybrook Shire Council meeting Dr Dedrick noted duplication of street names and a revised renaming plan will be a larger task. A four member committee was formed to report. The council discussed staff compensation practices and rejected a motion to extend the difference payment to all employees. Residents sought a pillar box and public telephone at Robinson Street and Derby Road, which the council approved inquiry into. The tramway buses boost revenue under the Motor Omnibus Act with £120 allocated, private transport excluded. Braybrook cricket scores and a gun club shoot are listed, plus Presbyterian Sabbath School anniversary details and trainer Mr Burns Andrawartha.
