Parking chaos at Mari byrnong Speedway permits

Dr Barrett told council Monday night that large crowds parking at the Mari By Rnong Speedway on Wednesdays and Saturdays overwhelmed the current area. Officials from the Maribyrnong HSL and Speedway Co. proposed side street parking controls, with plans to permit parking in Hortense and Newstead Streets and along the Esplanade under council supervision.

Youth Week Starts Tomorrow in District Festivities

Young Man Heavily Fined At Sunshine Court

At Sunshine Court on 6 November Kevin Walker Holman faced charges of drunkenness and disorderly conduct with indecent language after being seen drunk in Hampshire Road by Constable Murphy. He admitted three prior convictions and was fined £3 with 14 days imprisonment in default for drunk and disorderly conduct and £5 with 28 days in default for indecent language. Time to pay was refused.

21st Birthday Honor To Ron Crosbie In St Albans

Mr and Mrs F G Crosbie welcomed about 70 guests in the local hall on Thursday 7 November for Ron Crosbies 21st birthday. Frank Sturman played piano, John Stevens acted as M C, and Miss W Thompson entertained with two items. Edward Crosbie proposed the toast to the King, Angus Ampherton and cousin Ron toasted the guest of honour, and Patrick assisted. Mrs Reg Hand provided a splendid supper as telegram wishes arrived.
