Council Ignored Orders on Drainage Move in St Albans
At a September Keilorshire council meeting a motion gave Mrs A Wilson four teen days to carry out drainage work on Boundary Road property. The shire secretary N Woods said she planned to occupy once tenants left, but she was told not to until council requirements were met. A later note proposed blasting under the house and shifting it to Sunshine, which Inspector Nind called ridiculous. After confirming noncompliance, a motion by Dr Davis and Dr Gooch to prosecute was carried.

Members and friends of Albion Cricket Club journeyed to Greensborough on Sunday for a picnic. Ladies committees organized the event with cricket races won by Miss J Reddrop Miss A Clarke Miss D Leheny Miss T Halford and Mr T Calverley Mr Boyd and Mr T Calverley. A stroll by the creek followed before darkness ended the day. A new link in road to Calder Highway was discussed at Keilor council with the engineer's recommendation.
