The Sunshine Angling Club will hold its final day season competition next Sunday departing from the Sunshine Post Office at 6 am. Reports from Sandringham Brighton and Williamstown show flathead and rock cod biting freely while soft worms yield good bream in the lower Werribee River. Yearling trout were released in the northeast rivers, but drought reduces counts. Geelong and Ballarat hatcheries will publish lower outputs this year.
