Sunshine Anglers Win Challenge Cup at Williamatown
The Sunshine club won the challenge cup at Cobbledick's last Sunday amid sparse catches and no fish weighed in to open the competition. B Craddock took the trophy with D W Greenham as a fellow handicapper, with runners-up J. by with and A. J. Morgan among the eight finalists. Next event targets Altona row boats with 1 pm start from Sunshine post office and 8 30 pm finish Ash loy. Hartley's donated the trophy. next ladies’ event set for March 11 at Warrandyte. The triennial election for the Sun shine State School Committee was held Thursday evening with 17 present but only 12 eligible to vote due to lack of attending students. Over 600 scholars attend, and parent turnout was sparse. After the ceremony guests gathered at Braybrook hall for breakfast, dancing and games before the couple left for honeymoon at Healesville and plan to reside on Raleigh Street Braybrook.
