Train extension to St Albans for three months approved

A petition organized by the Albion and St Albany Progress Association and Braybrook Shire Council led the Railway Department to extend the 11.14 p.m. Melbourne train each night from Sunshine to St Albans for three months as a trial starting June 6. The change aims to reduce travel delays for Albion and St Albans residents who previously faced nearly an hour wait for the last train.
