At a district meeting Dr Barclay and hospital leaders detailed the aim to repay £408 deficit and £1,890 James Trust repayment. The executive committee will organize fundraisers including contests, parties, gymkhina events, and charity meetings with local groups and organizers.

Mr. T Deutschmann newly appointed Assistant Shire Secretary was welcomed by Shire President Dr R A Barrett at a Monday meeting. Deutschmann previously worked for the City of Ballarat and is expected to assist the council staff.
Parishioners of St Marks and many local friends are pleased a country stay restored Rev R F Adams to health and strength and he has resumed his parish duties.
Sunshine Golf Club told Braybrook Council Public Works Committee of its burden from the Glen Gala Road scheme. Club officials led by Secretary F Willaton and Treasurer H Morris warned that full road charges could force the club to abandon its land purchase and long term beautification aims. A compromise for a half road was discussed, but the council voted to proceed to auction and refer the matter to a magistrate for decision.
Raybrook Shire Council and Sunshine R.S.5.A.L.A. will hold a conference to discuss vacating the Shire Hall after a report on funds for the Soldiers Memorial in the hall. The 1921 subscription raised 2624/15/10 and the council had borrowed £3750 for the hall plus £5000 for completion. Dr Barclay opposed entering patronage terms for vacating the hall.
The Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association admitted four new teams Lonehive Ormond Oakleigh and Balwyn to its ranks on Wednesday night. They will serve a probationary period similar to Footscray's entry into the VCA as a reward for last season's performance.
A window at Mr. R. K. McDonald's shop in Hamp shire Hel was broken last night and a considerable quantity of goods were stolen.

An open court for revising the Waters' Lists of the tal Ridings of Braybrook will be held at the Shire Hall Sunshine on Monday 25 July at 7 p.m. Citizens may attend to present claims or objections in person.
The Shire of Keilor revises voters lists at Shire Mall Keilor on Monday 25 July. All eligible electors must attend in person or file a statutory declaration with Shire President A J Davis.
The death of Mr. Thomas Charles Frith of Hamel Street Sunshine occurred at Heidelberg Military Hospital on Friday aged 61. He served in World War I and was active with the St John Ambulance Brigade Sunshine and Footscray divisions. He worked at H V McKay Massey Harris and had been ill for two months. He leaves his wife and daughter Mrs Perry and daughter Mrs McKenner is deceased. The service was held at Nelson Bros Chapel and Fawkner Crematorium with a Guard of Honour by St John Ambulance. Followed by funeral arrangements for the other obituary Mrs SV Chervis of Fraser Street Sunshine aged 61.
Rt. Rev. Bishop Donald Baker will be the special preacher at St. John’s Deer Park Sunday evening at 7. The last sermon by Bishop Baker at St. John’s was for the dedication of memorial windows above the Holy Table. Reader Mr J L Richards and vestrymen invite all district residents to attend.
Thirteen candidates applied for the hallkeeper post at Braybrook Council. Six applicants will be interviewed next Monday.
