Sunshine pool appeal builds safer bathing space
The Sunshine district outlines the need for a modern swimming pool with funds, volunteers, and council support. Dr Raymond Robinson and local citizens led improvements after a wall collapse, with government grants boosting concrete walls, a floor, a barrier bridge and lighting. The open facility serves hundreds of daily bathers, including many children in organized classes, and seeks oversubscribed donations for final touches.
