Band Concert for Bushfire Relief in Braybrook Town Hall
The Braybrook Shire Council presents a Thursday evening concert by the Sunshine and District Band in the town hall to raise funds for bushfire relief. The program features Mrs Shea soprano Mr Hand contralto Reg Barclay violin J Wood comedian V Zarwmba tenor and other artists as well as a fine leafy program. Sunshine Band performs next Sunday afternoon in the gardens on February 5th.

ALL ABOARD CLUB hosts relief gatherings in January and February
The All Aboard Club held a January 27 gathering at Mrs. Broadhead’s with a large turnout and funds raised. On February 2 another afternoon at 24 Ridley Street supported bush fire relief. Little Misses Pearce Shuffrey and Douglas entertained. Mrs Ashton and Mrs Stuart thank helpers. Families are invited to a card party at Mrs Tisdale’s next Wednesday afternoon.

Learn to Swim Campaign by Sunshine Swimming Club
The Sunshine Swimming Club runs a bar to swim program at State school baths starting Monday February 6 at 6.50 to 8.80 pm and Saturdays 5 pm till 8 pm. The course ends Saturday February 18. Bona fide learners only. enrol with the secretary at 10 Leith Avenue or at the baths before 6 pm each evening.

Anglers Dominate Junction River Fishing Contest
The Junction and Big Rivers fishing competition yielded over seventy two pounds of fish. J. Simpson won with 14lb, IL Omant 0 second, G. R. Crick third.
