Local council discusses loan issues with no decisive outcome after two meetings. Reports note McKay Harvester Works may trim staff due to slack trade while aiming to avoid a full shutdown. officials hope to preserve as many jobs as possible for about 800 workers and apprentices.
At Thursday's court the Chairman Dr A. We Pennell Jr. congratulated Sergeant Munro on his elevation to first class. Clerk KE VY Davis also offered congratulations. Munro thanked the Bench and spoke of fond memories in Sunshine. Braybrook council held two meetings this week with a detailed shire financial statement presented by Secretary Hargreaves.

Aroused by barking dogs at 2 40 am Thursday Mr J Parsons of Parsons and Lewis horsehair rulers Anderson road reported firesmen attempting to enter the Sunshine factory. Police arrived to find the intruders gone with no trace of thieves. A prior theft of horsehair at the same place is noted, and a nearby Sunshine Theatre theft of confectionery is mentioned.
In Sunshine, Little Slonel, Stuart Adams aged years suffered severe leg injuries after leaning from a truck near Shorten's store in Albion. His father, Mr. Adams, rushed him to the Children's Hospital while Mrs. Adams, already visiting their younger son Donald aged six, learns of the accident. Doctors work to save the leg as the family endures a period of hardship with both boys hospitalised in the same ward.
The Sunshine Trust funds aid local needy households with groceries meat and bread distributed over two years. Founder HV McKay's legacy remains strong with reserves enabling ongoing relief. no one in the district should starve while the Trust holds funds. Also reports horse racing results from Williams Town with multiple event winners and a local divorce citation involving Sunshine residents.
Mrs Wallatetd, secretary at Vie Stinetie SRA, arranged for Colonel McAKengie, the Salvation Army officer known as Fighting Mac, to speak in the Sunshine Town balloon event. The address will mark the Anzac celebrations on Saturday April 25 with the noted figure described as interesting and forceful. The organizer Mr Willa expressed congratulations on securing such a capable reader for the commemoration ceremony.
