Albion School Ball Shines at Shire Hall

The Albion School Ball on Friday November 19 drew a full house at Shire Hall for an evening of modern and old time dances, marches, ballets and solos by pupils trained by Madame Daisy Bindley. The show opened with Show TBusiness and included solos by Fay Johnson Bren Wright and a promising Sydney Jones. Parent participation in the Barn Dance impressed, the Fan Ballet thrilled, and California Here I Come united all pupils for a happy finale. Local officials Dr Barrett Cyr Shepherd and Mr McDonald praised the event and presenters, with thanks to parents and carers and tribute to Mrs A Fleming and Mr W Gibson for key support.
