Albion IL beat Our Lady's as Deer Park defeated St Albans. scores show Deer Park 60 St Albans 33 and Albion 53 Our Lady's 46. In B Grade N. Sunshine overwhelmed Methodist 63 14, Presbyterian beat St Marks 59 38. Spaldings edged St Albans 54 36. Deer Park defeated Albion 56 46. Men’s results include Spaldings over Our Lady's 56 10 and Albion over Nth Sunshine 47 17.
Saturday racing unfolded under favorable conditions with standout rides by C. Hoskins who swept the 1 mile and 4 mile handicaps. G. Kimer showed strong form with a win in the B grade scratch race and third in the mile handicap, while W. Shepherd continued his good season by winning the A scratch race and placing second in the mile handicap.
