Theatre safety case against Kirby and Pratt
At the Sunshine Theatre a Health Commission case found Kirby and manager Pratt in breach for a safety device on the projection machine being tied up. Witnesses said the device was inoperative during shows and inspectors observed the issue at 8:10 p.m. on July 98. The bench fined Kirby £6 after a two hour hearing amid disputed testimony and cross examination.
