Braybrook Council learned the hut already stood behind the Public Hall. The structure, donated for storage by the kindergarten committee, was accepted after review. The Engineer was tasked to approve only if the hut met standard.

About 100 people gathered at Deer Park Hall to mark the club’s 14th birthday. Compere Les Clark of Blackburn hosted a festive evening with charming personality contributions and an attractive supper. The cake, decorated in club colors, was made by President Mrs Richards. A telegram from Mrs F R Quinton JP arrived. The Sunshine Presbyterian Boys Club took part in a gymnastic competition in Brunswick on Friday 12 August. The club tied with St Hawthorn for second place as Dandenong won first among twelve Presbyterian clubs. Parents provided transport, and a service will dedicate the P R A Badge.
