Sunshine's Need A Sports Ground Hort Show
Local enthusiasts competed in Sunshine Hall on Tuesday staging pot plants flowers vegetables and fruit amid rainy dull weather. The Japanese chrysanthemum bloom and champion J S Lloyd yellow incurved variety stood out. Strong blooms from Bennett Turner Lloyd Wigg Roma Bayless noted, with Lavendula Major winning section champion. Many cut flowers leaned to common annuals. herbaceous types could have shone more.
