Mother’s Day Shrine Drive In Grafton Attracts National Interest
Grafton observes Mother's Day with a Shrine service at the former Andrews Methodist Church led by Rev. Oren Reneau and featuring U.S. Sen. Jennings Randolph. The drive funds restoration of the site founded by Miss Anna M. Jarvis, with about $35,000 needed from voluntary donations to preserve the historic memorial.
