Preston County Eyes School Reform via Project DAVE

Preston County school system could become a national model if residents accept the results of Project DAVE designed to unify vocational and academic education. For over a year administrators and Dr H B Masters studied the system and its needs with a $89,467 federal Title III grant. The report due in late August outlines centralizing a vocational and academic center while retaining some facilities for junior high and elementary use and hints at eventual consolidation.
