Recognition Dinner Draws Coal Show Volunteers in Carmichaels
Plans for the King Coal Association third annual Recognition Dinner were finalized at the Carmichaels Fire Hall. The event at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Carmichaels Grange Hall will feature a special recognition plaque and three certificates, with the 1972 Pennsylvania Bituminous Coal Queen as entertainment.

Dunkard Township Grange held its Christmas dinner and birthday party in the Grange Hall for members and guests. A turkey and ham menu was served and October November and December birthdays were honored. Special music and a Santa visit delighted Junior Grange members.
