Yule traditions studied at Manown
At Manown, Kingwood-Manown Elementary teachers Eileen Bloom Gaynelle Hardesty and Virginia Michael guided a holiday unit focusing on giving over gift emphasis. Students made Santa crafts, wreaths and trees, learned fractions in candy making, tried simple needlepoint, and explored customs from England to Mexico while Hanukkah was explained by Mrs. Bloom.
