Cold and clear pattern dominates area weather
Frigid conditions continue with mostly sunny skies and teens highs. Tonight cool with 12 to 20 degree lows. Warmer, cloudy Monday with mid 30s to mid 40s. Yesterday's blowing snow and icy winds hit the Mountain State and nearby Pennsylvania. Slippery roads caused several accidents in Preston and Fayette counties. Marion County reports icy Route 250 from Mannington to Fairmont. Roads elsewhere treated. winds blew away road salt. Fayette County official calls the weather plain miserable.
