Lenox joins youth and seniors in community project
In Preston County Lenox residents led by 79 year old Nina Forman and 72 year old Elva Wilhelm unite the Lenox Homemakers Club and Lenox 4-H Club to back the ComBet program. The Lenox Community Building, built in 1952 on land donated by the Formans, is debt free and serves as a hub with support from Cuzzart Centenary and Wesley Chapel churches and local coal and trucking firms. Bollinger, a school employee, also built the adjacent community park with a pavilion fountain and landscaping.
