Mississippi lawyer joins Times Up network aiding low income women
Mississippi civil rights and workers' rights lawyer Jamba Hill, 70, joined the Times Up Legal Defense Fund, part of a nationwide 721-attorney network supporting low‑income women pursuing costly sexual misconduct cases. The fund has fielded 3,670 requests and funded 160 cases with $24 million in donations. Hill's suit for a black woman harassed by a bus line advances toward trial in February.
