Wagons East Ends John Candy's Final Ride
John Candy stars in Wagons East a revisionist western comedy released after his death. The ensemble cast balances broad and sly humor as a wagon train heads east while internal and external pressures test them. Candy anchors the film as a fallen hero seeking redemption, with supporting turns from Lewis Lauter McGinley and others at the Cinema Triple in New Bern.
