Women Veterans of Coastal NC push for parade presence
A trio of women formed the Women Veterans of Coastal North Carolina after asking Where are all the women during last year’s parade in Morehead City. The group aims to include women veterans and active duty personnel in the Carteret County Veterans Day Parade on November 5. They invite interested veterans to contact Brunton or Maxwell, with confirmation due by the Wednesday before the event, and hope an all-woman color guard leads the procession.
