Massive white shark Unama'ki reappears near Currituck NC
Researchers from OCEARCH tracking Unama'ki, a 15 foot 5 inch, 2,076 pound great white tagged off Nova Scotia on Sept 20, observed its reappearance 1,022 miles south near Currituck National Wildlife Refuge on the Outer Banks. The shark travels almost straight down the East Coast as studies seek migration patterns and behavior.

Lawmaker lent money to man later indicted in bribery case
North Carolina lawmaker David Lewis received a 500000 loan in June 2018 from John Gray a fellow farmer and ally noted in WRAL reporting.
