Cabinet-maker to lay off more than 150 workers
MasterBrand Cabinets plans to shift Aristokraft production from Kinston to Ferdinand Indiana over the next months to accommodate a new Kitchen Classics line at a 600000 square foot facility. About 156 workers in Kinston will be cut by October as capacity is reallocated while Martha Stewart line support continues locally. The firm remains committed to Kinston and may ramp up if market demand grows.
