Busch wins Cup title with Gibbs 1-2-3 finish at Homestead
Martin Busch clinched the Cup title for Joe Gibbs Racing, leading 120 laps as Truex and Hamlin faltered. Truex blamed a tire mix up, while Hamlin cited a taped front causing overheating and an unscheduled stop. Harvick finished fourth as Gibbs sealed a 1-2-3 finish and Toyota secured its third drivers’ championship in five years. Brexton Busch greeted his father on the frontstretch, seeking to join the victory ride.
