Bus driver Robin DeSousa fuels meals program across Craven County
Robin DeSousa, a kindergarten teacher assistant turned bus driver, delivers school meals to hundreds of Craven County students during the pandemic. She coordinates routes for nearly 30 to 72 children daily, packs lunches with staff, and helps homeschooled and private school students. Her work supports food security, keeps kids connected, and she also volunteers as a photographer for local sports and weddings while working weekends at Lowe's.
