A federal judge ruled churches may open this Sunday without following the 10 person cap, but few local churches plan to do so. In North Carolina Governor Cooper had restricted indoor services and sheriffs said they would not interfere with worship. Many churches now offer services via social media, live streams, or parking lot broadcasts.

River Bend parade honors graduates on Memorial Day
The Town of River Bend will stage a Memorial Day parade at 11:00 AM on Monday May 25 to honor graduates from College High School and Middle School. Graduates must meet at Town Hall at 10:45 in decorated vehicles with one graduate per vehicle and space along Shoreline Drive.

Blueberries Ripen on Bridgeton Farms With COVID Precautions
Bridgeson Sun Journal reports two Bridgeton blueberry farms Morris and Nelson open for U Pick. Morris farm at 800 US 17 sets Friday as berries ripen with prices 25 dollars per flat, 2.50 a pint, or 2 dollars a pound. Self pickers must report to a barn for buckets, with enhanced sanitation between customers and honor system is adjusted this season.
