BSH expands New Bern facility with new lines and docks
The BSH dishwasher plant doubles output by adding a second assembly line and a fully automated outer door line, along with 10 new loading docks and a 15 000 square foot bay. The 525 employees gain expanded storage, training rooms, and new break spaces. Automation will reduce forklift traffic as self guided robots carry materials. The facility now runs about 120 dishwashers per hour and celebrated its 10 millionth unit.
