Dig Continues at Foscue Plantation East of New Bern
Archaeology students from Craven Community College and ECU researchers dig on the Foscue Plantation site along with local owner Jim Foscue. Using GPR data, the team seeks pre 1824 history linked to the Foscue papers, unearthing house foundations, vaults, and artifacts that illuminate slave life and colonial era routines.
