Regional hazard plan moves forward in Craven County

Craven County eyes a regional hazard mitigation plan with Pamlico Carteret and Beaufort counties to satisfy the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000. The plan would provide a five year update cycle and potential grant funding from FEMA and NCEM, coordinating county staff and public outreach while Craven acts as lead coordinator.
