Doris Pfeiffer 83 dies in North Carolina hospice
Doris L. Pfeiffer, 83, of New Bern, formerly Brooklyn, died March 22 2019 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice Greenville. She served as RHA Howell Care Center ambassador and co surrogate parent. Survived by daughter Karen Kelly, sister Marjorie Ehlen, grandsons Ryan, Kurt, and Thomas, and two expected great grandchildren. Funeral 10 am March 27 at St Paul Lutheran Havelock with burial at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Jacksonville. Visitation 6 8 pm March 26 Pollock Best Funeral Home. Claude Taylor 80 of New Bern died Thursday March 21 2019. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held Monday at 3 PM at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. He served 22 years in the US Army and 23 years at Hatteras Yachts. Survived by sons Rodney Taylor and Alex Von Taylor, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
