Craven Smart Start Receives Save the Children Grant
Save the Children funds support Craven Smart Start to train caregivers and help 55 child care facilities recover from Hurricane Florence. Staff assessed needs, coordinated vendors, and delivered replacement materials with no salaries or admin costs. About 200 children ages six weeks to twelve years are enrolled, all benefiting from the center asset.
