NC redistricting fight heads to state courts

The Associated Press reports that after the Supreme Court ruling federal courts cannot settle partisan gerrymandering disputes, North Carolina opponents plan to file in two weeks in state court. Hero's homecoming for Corporal Nemec's remains

Neuse Boulevard became Patri otic Alley as New Bern citizens saluted Corporal Stephen Nemec 21 in 1950 when he died in the Korean War. DNA identified his remains and brought him home to Cotten Funeral Home for burial.
