Tennessee Extradition Warrant Signed in Williams Case
The governor of Tennessee signed an extradition warrant for Travis Williams held in Knoxville without bond since facing murder charges in Newport Williams also called Orin Eugene Ross. He is to be extradited to Carteret County North Carolina to face charges in the murder of Connie Mae Melton, 37. A Sundquist office spokeswoman said the warrant was signed last week and Williams may challenge by claiming not the sought man, after which Tennessee must identify him and return him to North Carolina.
