Local church events fill Sunday with services and dinners
Local churches across Craven County plan Sunday services led by guest speakers including N A Greshan Sr and George Sandle. Yard sales and fundraisers at Star of Zion and St. John churches, Men’s Day observances, pastor anniversaries, and a Deaconess Anniversary join Vacation Bible School and choir performances as part of weekend activities. Proceeds from some events support church missions and scholarships.
