Crash kills Maysville woman in head on collision
A Maysville woman Tracy Hall Wiggins 22 died when her husband David Jerome Wiggins 22 of 1591 Wide Oak River Road collided head on with Tammy Pierce 18 and Frank Gayheart 29 near Jacksonville. Wiggins faces involuntary manslaughter driving left of center and impaired driving charges. He posted a 5000 bond and will appear in Onslow County District Court. The couple had been returning from a bar when their 1979 Toyota Corolla crossed into the opposite lane striking a 1977 GMC truck. Det. M J Rivenbark and Sgt R L Hammonds provided statements.
