Bridge tale from Amman shows a cautious path to 12 tricks
In the Zone 4 Championships at Amman Jordan last April a six no trump contract yielded 12 tricks for one declarer after selective play in the diamond suit. Hani Dagher of Egypt correctly declined an immediate second diamond finesse and instead cashed top clubs, enabling a late heart and club sequence to unblocked cards and secure the 12 tricks.
