Woman sentenced for paternity fraud in Mecklenburg case
An Orange County woman Karen Weary received a 10 year sentence with six months in jail and at least $6,000 in fines after being found guilty of manipulating a blood test to help a Mecklenburg County man dodge child support. The judge suspended the sentence and placed her on probation for five years.
