Workload surge at NADEP from new Navy funding
The Naval Aviation Depot will see a very heavy workload in late fiscal 1995 and early 1996 because of added funding for aircraft repairs. Lt. Col. Eugene K. Conti says 31 additional aircraft, including 22 for H-46, seven H-53 helicopters, and two AV-8B Harriers, will be inducted between July and September, boosting output and demonstrating depot capabilities amid privatization talk.
