Neusick Trail A 50 Year College of Trail Building Ends in Croatan
Eastern North Carolina’s Carteret County Wildlife Club completed the Neusick Trail in Croatan National Forest, a 22 mile route from Pine Cliffs near Havelock to Oyster Point on the Newport River. The path, marked with aluminum blazes and white circles, spans four sections and includes dry shelters, bridges, and water pumps. The project, aided by the National Forest Service, aims to offer day hikes and overnighters while highlighting wildlife viewing and seasonal scenes along coastal plains.
